Even though it is a tight fit, the padded compartment flap still closes securely. No need for a laptop sleeve which is nice. I have smaller 11″ inch laptop that I leave in this tote so I have it with me when I’m on the road for the day and it fits with room to spare.This tote is very nice high-quality leather. I really love the sturdy, round and padded handles; they don’t “dig” into my shoulder. Even when I’m wearing a coat there is plenty of room for my arm to fit through the handles.The front pocket holds my 7″ tablet and charger for my phone and a few other things that I want to access quickly. My other chargers, ear phones etc. I keep in a neoprene zippered bag that I throw in the tote so I don’t have to dig through the tote to find what I need. The pockets are roomy and big enough to hold my Note 4 and other items that I need to access easily.The outside pocket on the back side of the tote can easily hold paperwork, a magazine or folders if you need to take things like that along. This same pocket is zippered at the bottom so that if you are traveling you can unzip the “pocket” and use it as a open sleeve to slide over a suitcase expandable handle to combine your luggage when traveling.The bottom of the tote is 4 inches wide and is not leather but a durable material that can easily be wiped clean. There are protective “feet” on the bottom. See pictures for more details.I really REALLY love this tote and it has exceeded my expectations. I will get a lot of use out of this tote. |

So, I wanted something that I can take inside a restaurant, etc.For about 2 years, I’ve seen this bag, and gave up and bought it. It is really nice! I was concerned it would not hold a lot, but it even holds my larger portable office scanner (instead of the small one I’ve been using lately), and I’m absolutely delighted.Here is the foundation of what I carry in my bag daily to give you an idea: My 15.3 inch laptop (with the sidetrak attached to it), my epson 300 wifi scanner, my portable speaker (gotta have music when I work), my amazon tablet (for TV & news), and other odds and ends from makeup to pens, etc. I STILL HAVE ROOM! Plenty of it.I also like the construction of it. The last bag I got (similar) was much more rigid & one can feel the hard plastic lining inside of it – which eventually bent. This one is pliable.Mother’s Day will be coming up. Worth the money if your Wife or mom works. If you are concerned that the side look is too slender, it does end up surprising you with what you can put in it. I also travel quite a bit, and it is now my go to bag for long trips, weekend get-a-ways, etc.Final note…if you really want to make a splash to it…which I love the dark brown color…I got a guitar style strap to add to it. It just give it a touch of color, and I can even use it as a another way of carrying the bag. |

This bag will easily hold my computer, a notebook, a folder, 1-2 smaller text books, the computer cord, my wallet, my phone, a pack of erasable pens, a small stapler, my full page planner, my brick of a 10.000 mph portable charger, a glasses case with sunglasses in it, and some chap stick. Although once you put that much in it, the chap stick is a stretch lol. It is a bit heavy but nothing unmanageable. The bag empty isn’t too heavy for being all leather. Be careful in reading descriptions if leather is what you want, because they have an ALL leather bag and a MOSTLY leather bag with pleather accents. I prefer all leather for durability. If you not sure, look at the price. Odds are leather is the most expensive lol. I see this bag lasting me for quite a while. My only major complaint is that there needs to be TWO zippers on the front pocket. Its a large square, which is nice, but it makes having only one zipper a pain in the butt cause it takes longer to get your wallet out. Which is bad when you have a group of hungry guys in the lunch line giving you dirty looks cause you’re fighting with your bag and they want food! |
