| Manufacturer | Ever since Vera Bradley changed their materials there bags have been awful. I have had so many “totes” from VB, but this new one won’t work for me anymore. It’s now taller, but super floppy. The cheap, ugly plastic material won’t stand up, and when I put my items in the inside pockets it causes the bag to sag. Ugly to look at since it won’t keep it’s shape. When these bags were made of cotton with padded pockets everything stood up, kept its shape, and stayed in place. Now VB bags look like cheap knock offs of their previous bags, and are clearly meant to last for a few months not years. Didn’t wait around to find out. I send this inferior product back. |
| Part Number | I’ve been using this as a work tote for about 3 months. I don’t put anything heavy in it, mostly a few cosmetics, a notebook a few pens and of course “girl gear” pads and such. About two weeks ago I noticed that one of the inner pockets is literally coming off. The stitching is just unraveling and the fabric is falling off. Novice seamstress that I am, even I was surprised that there was no reinforcements. It’s just a simple straight stitch…maybe I got a knock off? I love the fabric design, but I am really disappointed in the poor quality of this tote. A few years ago I was gifted a Vera backpack. Despite two years of lugging textbooks the bag is still solid, with just a pinch of fading on the bottom. I was expecting the same kind of quality with this little tote, especially considering how much it cost. No more overpriced Vera stuff for me! |
